STEVONTE IN "BEL-AIR," CURRENTLY ON PEACOCK
We are extremely proud of our alum STEVONTE HART, who bagged the role of Trey in Bel-Air, produced by Will Smith, currently streaming on Peacock.
Stevonte started his classes as a teen student, and was soon accepted into the adults' Stanislavski program. He participated in various shorts and student films, and his talent took him to the auditions for Bel-Air, and the rest is history.

NOAH MAKES HIS BROADWAY DEBUT
Congratulations are in order for alum NOAH PACHT on his Broadway debut with Kimberly Belflower’s JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN, directed by Tony Award® winner Danya Taymor.
New York Times calls it “The most anticipated show of the Spring.”
A very bright and gifted performer, Noah started acting at a very early age, and continues to follow his dreams as an alum of Carnegie Mellon University.

HANNAH STARS IN TUBI'S CURRENT MOST POPULAR MOVIE
Congratulations to our alum HANNAH LICHTL whose last feature “Southside Vengeance” released on Tubi and Prime in January and has remained as the most popular film on the channel.
Hannah not only acted in a major role, but also did the production design and casting of the film. Check it out.
CATCH OUR STUDENTS ON "MO" SEASON 2
Big shout out to all our alum who worked in the 2nd season of the hit series MO, currently streaming on Netflix.
This was a first for many of our students, and it gave them a ton of invaluable onset experience.
Congrats Lucy, William, Taylor, Rebecca, Tiffany, John, Barbara, Jason and all others who participated in this amazing show.
6ROC'S SERGIO IN "THE CHOSEN"
Actor SERGIO LANZA from our last feature "6 Rounds of Chloe" plays the role of Lamech in "The Chosen."
Sergio is a Spanish-American actor, who currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife Vanessa Benavente (Mother Mary in The Chosen) and their daughter.

ANASUYA WINS BEST ACTRESS AT CANNES
Next Actor Studio and Boat Angel Film Sugarbaby Actress ANASUYA SENGUPTA won the Best Actress award at Cannes Film Festival's Un Certain Regard for Bulgarian director Konstantin Bojanov's The Shameless.
Anasuya had played a supporting role of a working girl in our 2009 feature film Sugarbaby, that was shot in India with several Next Actor Alum.
KRISTIAN SHOOTS TWO FILMS IN A MONTH
Big congrats to our alum and Teen/Pre-teen acting instructor KRISTIAN PETERSON on booking and shooting two films in the month of July.
Kristian got cast in two very different roles in the Proof of Concept "Overnight" that was shot in Beaumont, Texas, and the short film "Possession" that was shot in Conroe, Texas. Both films are now wrapped and getting ready for post.
"RECAST" SERIES RESUMES FILMING
Our comedy show RECAST is now back to filming, after being stalled for a considerable amount of time due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
RECAST is a spin-off of our comedy feature Bleep Love,
The series stars San Banarje (Interrogation of a Husband), Lorelei Linklater (Boyhood) Harry S. Murphy (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Pooja Batra (Squad) in lead roles.

Alum ALEX GOEL shines as Chloe in the thriller 6 Rounds of Chloe, written & directed by Stanislavski Instructor Trisha Ray.

Congratulations to alum TIERNAN STOVER on narrating an entire audio book The Indian and the Immigrant by Kenny Eagle.
Tiernan debuted as a voice actor in the feature 6 Rounds of Chloe, (now available on Amazon), and also acted and crewed in the comedy series Recast.
AND THE WINNER IS...
Filmmaking and Screenwriting Student TENLEY RAJ's debut short film 'Before The Freeze' continues to win awards at film festivals across the globe.
The psycho-thriller was Tenley's filmmaking class project for which she collaborated with our acting students Lucy and Lizzie.
Tenley is now writing the sequel to the short for a 2024 filming.
CATCHING DREAMS
Alum Jamaine Brown, debuted as the lead in the urban feature Detroit, right after completing his first course of Stanislavski Method Acting Classes at Next Actor Studio.
Currently Jamaine resides in his hometown in Louisiana and stays busy acting, and fulfilling his childhood dreams that he took seriously.
Grant in "Stranger Things" & "Mo"
Alum GRANT GOODMAN from Bellaire, Texas, is now a part of STRANGER THINGS Season 4.
Repped by Pastorini Bosby Talent Agency, since he was a child actor, Grant’s career has taken him through working with some of the greatest directors of all times, including Paolo Sorrentino in This Must be the Place. He also worked in the Blockbuster Campaign, starring Will Ferrell and Zack Galifianakis
Alum Sam Hoger Films Scene with "The" Pacino
Next Actor Alum and MMA Champion SAM HOGER (Alaskan Assassin) share screen time with the legend AL PACINO on the set of "Mangold",
During the shoot, Sam got to talk to the Scarface actor about Acting and the auteur quipped "All the best actors are method actors."
Ash Thapliyal in "Troop Zero"
Next Actor Alum ASH THAPLIYAL makes his mark in the movie Troop Zero, alongside Oscar winners Viola Davis and Allison Janey.
Ash started taking acting classes in 2011, and debuted in the Next Actor Film The Nowhere Son, followed by our thriller The Shadow Behind You, the Christian film Artisse, and the comedy A Curry on an American Plate. Ash, a Houston resident, has now changed his profession from engineering to acting, while being repped by Pastorini Bosby Talents.
Jenna Debuts in "The Legend of the White Dragon"
Alum JENNA FRANK stars in the LEGEND OF THE WHITE DRAGON, the last work she did alongside her late father JASON DAVID FRANK (Power Rangers). ❤️💔
Jenna has been a student at the studio since she was only 12 years old, and has also participated in our recently released thriller 6 ROUNDS OF CHLOE. Currently a resident of Los Angeles, Jenna is also a very talented musician, composer and vocal artist.
John and Andrea Win Awards
Alum JOHN GOODE continues to grow as a writer, actor, and producer, as he keeps making shorts. His last short film BROTHERS IN ARM, written by and starring John, directed by Enrique Vazquez, and also starring NICO GOODE and ANDREA FLORES (in picture) and several alum from our acting school won two awards, including the Best Action Film at the Austin After Dark Film Festival.
2024 NIFF HOUSTON INT'L FILM FESTIVAL
Since 2015, Next Actor Studio has been hosting our own International Film Festival in Houston, that showcases a diverse lineup of independent and foreign films from around the world. The festival is committed to supporting emerging filmmakers and providing a platform for their work to be watched by audiences in Houston and beyond. Niff will be held October 25 this year. Alum are welcome to attend the festival with complimentary passes.
